How many public toilets should I have on my campsite? How big should they to be?
The installation of sanitary facilities on campsites must comply with several types of regulations: urban planning and building regulations, sanitary regulations, accessibility and safety regulations. With regards to the number of toilets on campsites, there are minimum ratios between the number of guests and the facilities available. As an indication:
- One toilet for every 20 people
- One shower for every 25 people
- One wash basin for every 10/15
people - One toilet for disabled users for every 100 people.
Toilet sizes also vary according to local regulations, but you can use these general guidelines as a trace:
Toilet dimensions for non-disabled people
The minimum recommended public toilets dimensions are approximately 1.00 x 1.20 metres, with a door that closes from the inside. Showers should also be installed in rooms of at least 1.00 x 1.20 metres and should be equipped with a changing room. Toilets access systems depend on customers and area of installation requirements, which is why we offer several options.
Access can be free or paid, coin-operated or contactless with Nayax readers (you decide how much to set!).
Again, you can choose the access system equipping the facilities with QR code or tax code reader or a EuroKey.

Do you have a warranty for your products? For how many years?
Yes, all our toilets are covered by a warranty. By law, the warranty on manufacturing defects is one year, but at SANO2 we have decided to extend it to 2 years to give you greater peace of mind and security in your investment.
