SANO2 is a division of Prefabbricati Santerno S.r.l. group; it specializes in design, production, installation and maintenance of self-cleaning public toilets, offering both traditional and green, off-grid solutions, for indoor and outdoor locations.
We were born in Italy but we have an international outlook. Since 2018, we have been taking SANO2 quality all around the world, customising each project in order to adapt to different regulations, territories, cultures and weather conditions. For us, hygiene is not a luxury, it is an universal right.
Thanks to a multi-disciplinary team and a stable industrial network, we are able to transform the most complex challenges in tailored solutions. Apart from our products, what makes us stand out is a working method oriented to sustainable innovation, practical design and care towards people.

SANO2 is a brand of Prefabbricati Santerno S.r.l., an historical Italian company which operates in the vibrated reinforced concrete sector. A consolidated origin, which allows us to offer complete, reliable and industrially-structured hygienic solutions. Since 2018, in SANO2 we stand out for our innovation in the design of prefabricated public toilets – self-cleaning, traditional and off-grid – as well as urban decor solutions.
In time, we have designed projects for municipalities, companies and large international realities, carrying our know-how in every corner of the world with the same goal: transforming public spaces for people.

All our components are CE certified, tested to be used millions of times and developed in compliance with the strictest international standards.
Sustainability and environmental impact: a concrete commitment
In SANO2 sustainability is not a mere value: it means measureable results.
From 2023 to 2024 we have reduced total waste production by 80,99 tons (-23,91%), in spite of a 20% production increase in the same period.
Our environmental strategy is vast and structured: we use renewable energy from photovoltaic and district heating systems, we choose suppliers with zero mileage and we manufacture our products with more than 95% recyclable materials. Moreover, we constantly monitor conformity to Minimum Environmental Criteria (MEC) and to environmental management system EN ISO 14001:2015, to improve, always.
